Masters Team - Expressions of Interest
We have the opportunity to enter a masters team in the FFV Masters League for next season.
At this stage we are gauging interest from within or outside the club (any old men you might know that fancy a kick). If you are interested in playing please email Pete Widdows at peterwiddows2002@yahoo.com.au by 19th December.
A few things about the Masters League:
Age Requirement
You must be over 35 at the start of the
season.
Day and Time of Play
The teams play on Sunday at a time arranged between
the two teams.
Substitutes
Roll on roll off substitution is allowed,
facilitating a mid game rest for the oldies!
Training
Training with the other Middle Park teams on Tuesday
and Thursday if the individual wants to, there will be no requirement to train
in order to get selected.
Limitation
If a player is registered to play in the over 35's
with the FFV, he cannot then choose to play for one of the open age teams in the
VSF, as multiple registrations are not
allowed.
