Rd 18 v Preston South
I'm a bit tardy with this report so details are scratchy however somewhat amazingly I can remember the goals. First up Mickey S scored a great solo goal. After picking the ball up in the middle of the park, he left the Preston midfielders flat-footed, as he charged towards the goal the defenders dived out of the way leaving Moses to slot into the corner without fuss. 1-0 Parkers
The second goal was remarkable for a number of reasons, firstly the scorer being Dibbsy, secondly it was from outside the box and thirdly it was scored by Phil. You'll be less surprised to hear it was actually a cross that flicked off the top of the boot sailed high into the air and made a fool of the keeper on the way down as it went over his head despite the fact he was stood on the line. 2-0 Parkers
The third was another cracker from Moses. This time the ball was worked around the pitch with some nice passing eventually releasing Remco down the left, he pinged in a cross which was met on the volley and hit with some power. A fine goal. 3-0 Parkers
As for the rest of it, well it doesn't really matter. Old Xavs only drew with HNK leaving us the task of avoiding a 13-0 defeat against Hellenic Moorabbin next week to retain the title.
